The most effective way to find a domain name is to match the domain name with what you want. For example, if your name is Bob and you want to have a Blog - the logic domain name would be bobsblog.com. The following steps will help you quickly get your new hosting account and domain name ready to go:

Step 1

Next, select your hosting plan. Depending of your needs, you might want to select the Hatchling or Baby plan. Once you have decided which plan suits you best, click on "Order Now"

Next, it's time to choose your domain name. Write your desired domain name and click next. In this example we use BobsBlog.com

Now, the website will already assign you a Discount code. Switch the discount code to "FREEMONTH" to get your first month free.

Step 3

Next, complete the transaction and confirm your payment of $0.01 - Once it's done, HostGator will send you an e-mail to confirm your hosting account information.
